Terms and Conditions of Use

These terms and conditions will apply to all transactions placed with Mrs Moore’s Vintage Store Limited. Please read them carefully before placing any order. All contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to affect your statutory rights.

If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use this Site. We reserve the right, at any time, to alter, modify, or update these Terms and Conditions of Use. By accepting our Terms and Conditions of Use, you agree to be bound by such alterations, updates, or modifications.

All design, graphics, text and the selection and arrangement thereof on this Site are owned by Ana Couto Moore. Permission is granted to copy electronically and to print in hard copy portions of this Site for the sole purpose of using this Site as an information resource (or of ordering goods or services and using this site as a shopping resource). Any other use of materials on this Site including reproduction for purposes other than noted above, distribution, modification, or reproduction without our prior written permission is strictly prohibited.

Intellectual Property

The original designs are all by Mrs Moore’s Vintage Store Limited.  Most of the designs come from Mrs Moore’s passion for vintage fashion and the glamour of past times, with a sprinkling of whimsy. We hope you love them as much as we do.

All text, graphics, images, patterns and designs on all Mrs Moore’s Vintage Store Limited products are protected by copyright, design rights, trade mark rights and other intellectual property rights, which are owned by Mrs Moore’s Vintage Store Limited.

All other trademarks, product names and company names or logos cited herein are the property of their respective owners.


We are pleased to accept ordersvia telephone, post or online via secure server. All credit / debit card transactions are subject to validation checks and are authorised by the card issuer. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Switch and Maestro. We do not accept American Express. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay and / or non-delivery of your order. No orders will be accepted or processed without a valid card payment in the name of the registered cardholder.

The web price includes VAT at the rate as at time of ordering which is currently 20%.

Making a purchase is easy. Simply enjoy browsing our products and then click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the Shopping Bag. Once you have selected all your items, click on ‘View Basket & Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to fulfil the order.

The receipt of an email order confirmation or an order number does not constitute the acceptance of an order or a confirmation of an offer to sell. We reserve the right, without prior notification, to limit the order quantity on any item and/or to refuse service to any customer. Certain orders may constitute improper use of this Site. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason. Your account may also be restricted or terminated for any reason, at our sole discretion. Verification of information may be required prior to the acceptance of any order. Prices and availability of products on this Site are subject to change without notice. Errors will be corrected when discovered, and we reserve the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any inaccuracies, errors, or omissions (including after an order has been submitted).


Delivery of an order shall be made to your address as specified in your order or at our discretion to any address that we have been given as your address. You acknowledge that we may require you to provide proof of address and identification (in the form of photo identification) prior to delivery being made.

Delivery Time

If you have selected our ‘Standard Delivery’ option, it is our aim to deliver to you within 5 working days of the receipt of your order. In the event that we are unable to achieve this and which will delay your delivery, we will email you with an expected delivery date or the option to cancel your order.

Failed Delivery

If for any reason you fail to accept delivery, or we are unable to deliver the Products on time because you have not provided appropriate instructions, documents, licences or authorisations the risk in the Products shall pass to you (including loss or damage caused by our negligence); and the Products shall be deemed to have been delivered. If we are requested to re-deliver the Products following a failed delivery we reserve the right to make an additional charge for such re-delivery. We may deliver the Products by separate installments. Each separate installment shall be a separate Contract and no cancellation or termination of any one Contract relating to an installment shall entitle you to repudiate or cancel any other Contract or instilment. You shall be required to notify us of any delivery shortages within 24 hours of delivery or you shall be deemed to have accepted delivery of all Products.

Delivery (outside the UK)

For all orders for delivery outside of mainland UK, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to arrange for a courier to deliver the goods to you. We are willing on your invitation and as your agent to instruct a courier to deliver the relevant goods on your behalf for the prices set out in our delivery section. If you take up this option, you will enter into a direct contract with the courier in respect of the delivery of the goods under their standard terms and not with us, and you will be liable to the courier to pay the Delivery Rate. We will (unless you instruct us otherwise) collect payment of the Delivery Rate from you, and as your agent pay such amount to the courier. Any liability in connection with such delivery shall be between the courier and you, and shall not involve us. If you elect to arrange for someone else to deliver the goods to you, you should make the appropriate election and contact us to make arrangements for the goods to be made available for collection. No collection of the Delivery Rate will be made by us in these circumstances.


Subject to our written agreement, the Products may be returned by you at your expense within 14 days of delivery. No returns will be accepted for goods shipped to outside the UK, Ireland and Channel Isles.

Warranties and Disclaimers

We intend for the information and data contained on the Site or provided via other channels, including but not limited to email and phone, to be reliable and accurate, however, since the information and data have been compiled from a variety of sources, it is provided “AS IS.” You expressly agree that your use of this Site is at your sole risk. We expressly disclaim all warranties and/or conditions, express or implied, as to any matter whatsoever relating to or referenced by this Site including but not limited to the implied warranties and/or conditions of merchantability and/or satisfactory quality for a particular purpose.

Rights of third parties

Our agreement is with you and no one else. No third parties will have any rights under or in connection with us by virtue of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall we or our employees, officers, directors, agents, distributors, affiliates or third parties providing information on this Site be liable to any user of this Site for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, punitive, consequential or exemplary damages (including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, data or use) arising out of the use of inability to use this Site.

You hereby acknowledge that the preceding paragraph shall apply to all content, merchandise and services available through the Site or other channels.
